A team representing outdoor garden furniture, wooden products and decorative garden structure specialist, Zest 4 Leisure was crowned the winner at the 11th annual GIMA Charity Golf Day.

Held at the Belton Woods Hotel & Golf Club in Grantham, Lincolnshire, the event brought together garden industry suppliers and retailers with twenty-four four ball teams competing for the coveted GIMA Golf trophy.  In addition to the golf, teams enjoyed a barbecue and a charity auction in aid of the event’s charity beneficiary, Greenfingers.

The Zest team, which comprised Simon Davidson, Head of Commercial Development, Alwyn Williams, Head of Business Support together with Liam Barrett from Longacres and Jess I’Anson from Notcutts won the day with 96 points.

Alwyn Williams commented, “A great day was had by all in fantastic sunshine.  We all enjoyed ourselves and winning was just a bonus.   It was great to see many of our fellow suppliers and customers from the industry once again, so a big thank you to all at GIMA for organising a great event that also raised a good deal of money for Greenfingers.  We look forward to returning next year to try and retain the title!”
